Archetypes are universal patterns of talents, motivations and behaviors.
They contain a dialogue of how and why we use our energy the way we do.
Archetypal patterns are a way to learn about the truth and possibilities of our lives.
They are universal and yet each of us can express an archetypal pattern our own way.
Archetypes are foundations upon which we can develop a deeper personal understanding of our own potential.
What is Archetypist.com? I created this site in 2009 as a resource for those looking for more information on personal archetypes. It has since spawned a podcast that uses the mythological story of the major arcana of the Tarot as an important analog of Joseph Campbell's Hero's Journey that includes more feminine archetypal characters and situations. In the Blog section below will find essays and articles by myself as well as artists and practitioners using archetypal patterns for positive change in individual lives and communities. Stay in touch by signing up for email updates or connecting through social media.

Core Archetypes Blogs

They influence how we respond to authority, and how we make choices. This category contains articles written about these archetypes.
